The LWA preschool is so blessed to partner with parents in the development of the children’s spiritual, emotional and academic growth. We love to see the children’s eagerness to make new childhood friends and the bonds that the families make through their children.
We are a child-centered Christian Preschool program based on the belief that preschool education should be age appropriate and based upon solid child development principles. Living Water Academy Preschool addresses the child’s development socially, emotionally, physically, cognitively, and spiritually. Our strength lies in our staff’s professional competence, personal dedication, and Christian commitment. We believe children learn best in an atmosphere of love and respect. Our goal is to guide children in developing the potential with which God has endowed them. We teach to the child within a classroom environment, allowing them to thrive in their abilities. Preschool is a time for our children to be two, three, four and five, a time to be challenged, a time to experiment, a time to discover, and a time to be successful as children prepare for the next step in education. We believe in providing a supportive and nurturing learning environment for children to encourage their development. Children learn about themselves and their environment through active participatory learning in a setting that presents opportunities to explore many topics and practice many skills. Because each child is uniquely created, we believe each child develops at his/her own pace and should be treated as an individual. |
