Living Water Academy’s academically challenging curriculum is designed to promote Godly excellence with relevance in all that we do while raising servant leaders of real character equipped to impact the world.
Our Christ-centered curriculum takes His love beyond the chapel and into the classroom, incorporating Christ’s love and learnings into every subject. The Living Water Academy curriculum includes proven learning programs A Beka, Saxon, Bob Jones/Purposeful Design, and Christ In Culture that provide an intellectually and spiritually stimulating education preparing students for high school and beyond. Accredited (K-8) by Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), we utilize the Iowa Achievement Tests to benchmark the academic excellence of our students against nationally recognized and respected norms, and the majority of our students score higher than the national average in all subjects.
LWA strongly believes in learning “beyond the classroom” and offers a variety of exploratory classes at every grade level to stretch the body as well as the mind, including: Physical Education, Art, Music, Computer Science, and Spanish. Additionally, our Learning Center provides individualized support for students from elementary school through middle school with various learning challenges needing additional assistance beyond what is provided in the core classroom setting. We encourage you to learn more about our classes and offerings in Preschool, Lower School and Middle School.
